Open Question: my father was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes does it mean that im going to have diabetes?

My father was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes this month, he was the only one who is diabetic and so the whole family IM asking if I was suffering from diabetes? Chat room a little scared, I'm just 12 so please help me! No one on my mother side has diabetes.thanks!
